Kisha C. Bryan, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Tennessee State University. She is an advocate for ELs and other linguistically diverse populations. Her research focuses on identity construction among Black and immigrant adolescents, language acquisition in urban contexts, and teacher preparation.
